Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TryAPI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
Description of Service
TryAPI provides tools for creating interactive API playgrounds, generating code snippets, and testing API endpoints. Our service allows you to convert cURL commands into embeddable documentation and testing environments.
Account Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly update any changes to your information
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use TryAPI to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Harass, abuse, or harm others
- Send spam or unsolicited communications
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to it
- Resell or redistribute the service without authorization
API Testing Guidelines
When using TryAPI to test APIs, you must:
- Only test APIs you have permission to access
- Respect rate limits and usage policies of third-party APIs
- Not use the service to conduct security testing without authorization
- Not store or transmit sensitive data inappropriately
Subscription and Billing
Free Trial
New users receive a 7-day free trial. Credit card information is required to start the trial. You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel.
Payment
Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
TryAPI and its content, features, and functionality are owned by TryAPI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the playgrounds and content you create. By using our service, you grant us a license to host, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
Generated Code
Code snippets generated by TryAPI are provided for your use without restriction. You may use, modify, and distribute generated code as you see fit.
Privacy
Your use of TryAPI is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand our data practices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
TryAPI is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TryAPI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TryAPI and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes through the service or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
